In the small town of Ravenswood, a strange evil had taken root. It had started with strange whispers in the wind, of a child possessed by an unearthly force. People whispered of her glowing eyes, and how she would often be seen speaking to someone unseen. They warned each other to stay away from her, for fear of catching the evil that had claimed her.
Sarah was a curious girl, and she couldn't help but be drawn to the stories of the possessed child. She was fascinated by the tales of the ghostly figure that had taken over the body of a young girl, and she wanted to see for herself if the stories were true.
One night, she snuck out of her house, and made her way to the abandoned old mansion on the edge of town, where the possessed child was said to live. As she approached, she could feel the darkness closing in around her, and she hesitated, but her curiosity got the better of her, and she pushed on.
As she entered the mansion, she was struck by a sudden, icy cold. She could hear the whispers of the wind, and the sound of laughter, coming from somewhere deep within the building. She made her way down a narrow, twisting staircase, and came to a large, dark room. And there she saw her, the possessed child.
She was a young girl, no more than ten years old, with hair as black as the night, and eyes that glowed like the full moon. Her skin was as pale as snow, and she stood in the center of the room, speaking in a voice that was not her own. Sarah was frozen in fear, unable to move, as the possessed child turned her gaze upon her.
"You should not have come here," the child said, in a voice that was deep and echoing. "You have entered a world beyond your understanding, and now, you will never leave."
And with those words, the child lunged forward, and Sarah was consumed by the darkness. When the villagers finally found her, days later, she was lying on the floor, her body writhing in pain, and her eyes glowing with the same unearthly light as the possessed child. The evil had claimed her, just as it had claimed the young girl, and now, two souls were lost to the darkness forever.
